The Brains Behind Jangubuzz

I recently attended the launch of a software application (mostly known as an app), Jangubuzz (JB) and got the opportunity to talk to the minds behind the app. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a few videos and pictures from the event on my insta-story. The event was a lot of fun, colorful yet inspiring. I must comment on how great it is to see millennials (people like me) doing amazing work. That said, I had to share a few things about this app and the brains behind the app.

What is Jangubuzz and how was it created?

Jangubuzz is an app that lets you create and find events around you no matter how small the events are. It was created mainly because the founders wanted to find an event they could attend or an entertaining place they hadn’t been to before and could not find one.

Patrick Mukasa

Role: Chief Executive Office. I conceptualized the creation of JB and seek ways to make it a success. Goal for the company: I hope that JB becomes the leading events application worldwide while providing easy access to events for everyone, anytime and anywhere.

Farouk Nnajiofor

Occupation: App Developer, UI and UX Designer and Technology Strategist. Role: Chief Tech Officer. I create interactive experiences that reduce the gap between man and machine while increasing our respect to human empathy. Goal for the company: To build a platform that connects, creates and employs entertainers and event goers.

Adnan Abubakar Aliyu

Occupation: College undergrad (pre-law), non-accredited investor. Role: Chief Financial Officer. Goal for the company: To be at the forefront of the mission to bring the world closer together.

Ansih Yoila 

Occupation: Fashion Designer. Role: Chief Operations Officer. I brainstormed with my teammates to turn our idea from a concept to reality. We started with a design and moved to creating captivating captions for the advertisement of JB. Now, I am fully committed to keeping everyone on top of their duties and I like it! Goal: To create a company that operates seamlessly and take JB to a global level.

Jenifer Wophill

Role: Public Relations Officer. I try to look at every decision exclusively through the lens of a customer. This is important since we hope to change the way the world thinks in respect to event apps. I have a special passion for this revolutionary app and that makes everything I do here a goal and not a role. Jangubuzz is a movement! Aspiration in Life: I want more out of life than average and I aspire to create a life I don’t need a vacation from. Goal for the company: To make everyone feel like their little events matter and connect as many people as possible.

Osarobo Idehen

Role: Marketing Officer Aspiration in Life: To start up my own talent agency. Goal: To be the amongst the leading event management applications in the market and change how people view events management.

Mu-izz Gbadamosi

Occupation: Mechatronics Engineering Student. Role: Marketing Liaison. Aspiration in Life: To be able to make an impact in the world and build a company that helps start-up businesses share their innovations and ideas while connecting people. Goal for the company: To create a platform that tackles the complexity and brings awareness to people about things going on around them
