Food For Thought

I sought out a financial advisor who told me to invest all my money. Now, the financial advisor was a novice & had no idea how markets worked. Well, at that point, she thought she did. Needless to say, I lost everything. 😔
I was very scared of investing my money after that had happened so when I heard of this financial advisor that controls the markets, I was very skeptical of letting him get an inch close to my money.🤷🏽‍♀
On meeting with this new advisor, he told me that my goals didn’t matter much compared to what he had planned for me. What?? 😒(These advisors have come again with their talks.)
From looking into my eyes, he could tell I was scared of letting him control my money, my net worth, my life. He didn’t fail to mention there would be bad days & good days but through it all, he would be with me. All I had to do was trust him. 🤡

A lot of times, we encounter fear in trusting God because of the situations that happened in the past. This happens after we think we know it all, after our encounter with the first financial advisor (ourselves) fails. Why go through the stress of figuring out life ourselves when there is one who controls everything and cares a lot about you.?

1 Peter 5: 7- Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you!
