3 ways I styled a Yellow Coat

I stumbled upon this heavily discounted coat at Aritzia while window shopping for a tan coat. Ordinarily, I like to think my personal style is very laid back, practical (I need to be able to wear stuff more than once) and somewhat conservative so, a yellow coat was a little too much for me (I have been adding a lot of color to my wardrobe recently, though). My friend kept urging me to get this coat and I’m glad I listened to her because, I absolutely love it.

Here are some outfits I wore with the yellow coat. Hoping, you find some inspiration somewhere…. 😀

Outfit 1- Typical Sunday Fit: On Sundays, I get to dress up and put on some makeup too and this is what a typical church service look looks like for me.

Sweater- Gap; Purse- Kate Spade; Jeans- H&M

Outfit 2- The Shirt Dress:When I got this dress, I saw a lot of styling potential but, I am still in the process of figuring out how to wear it. I wore this dress with a short leather skirt and a pair of red shoes. I completed this look with heavy accessories because of how plain I thought the outfit was.

Shirt Dress- Aritzia; Skirt- Dynamite; Shoes- Aldo

OutFit 3- Yellow Mustard: On one of those nights, I wore this top and pants and received a number of compliments on my jumpsuit. I knew then to recreate the look so, I switched it up a little and wore the shirt under (not a jumpsuit, lol). Typically, mustard is a fall color but, pairing those colors with this yellow coat made it look more spring-like to me.

Shirt- Dynamite; Bandage Top- Artizia, Pants: Suitable for work; Shoes- Call It Spring; Bag- Kurt Geiger

Bonus Fit- I really liked this outfit but couldn’t get a none mirror picture. Perfect for running errands and still feeling trendy. Had. a pair of white trainers on here.

Jeans- H&M; Top- Mango; Fedora Hat- H&M
