Book Review: After You By Moyes

I remember seeing the movie “Me Before You” in the summer of 2016. I left the theatre in shock and tears and there was no one to ‘rant’ to since my friend slept through the movie. I needed to know more and so I got the sequel, After you.

Both books were written by Jojo Moyes and revolve around Louisa Clark, a cheerful witty young lady. Me Before you was adapted into a movie which is currently on Netflix. (However, I would advice you read the book (Me Before You) first if you can). Read more: Me Before You and After You.

Here is a 3-ish-minute review of the book, After You. Enjoy!

I enjoyed reading the book and recommend you get both books. 🙂 Have you read the book? What are your thoughts? I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Reader, Thank you for stopping by. I have decided to include videos in my blogposts to make them a little more exciting. I hope you like this. Because I am introducing this concept (video and blogpost), I NEED your feedback (PLEASE). Did you enjoy the video? What are your thoughts on the concept (i.e. video and blog)? Do you want to see more videos like this? What books do you recommend I review next? I really do hope to hear from you!

Lots of love,

*Please forgive the fluctuating backgrounds, sounds and the video quality. Working on that. 🙂

  1. The movie for some reason didn’t make me cry , I had read the book like a year before the release and had anticipated the movie soo much that once it came out I was a bit dissapointed 😩 anyways the sequel was a nice read but didn’t strike home like me before you, now that was the one that had me sobbing 😭😭

    1. I haven’t read the book, Me Before you, and that is probably because I already saw the movie before I got the novel. It’s always such a struggle for me to read a book after seeing the movie. I hope you enjoyed one book at the very least. 🙂
